From the President's Corner

We are well into winter with all the little extras that go along with the great skiing, sledding and hot cocoa, such as shoveling snow, skating on sidewalks and slip-sliding down the road. So it is appropriate to remind everyone of the Front Range Forum snow day policy. If the Poudre School District is under a snow closure, then Front Range Forum classes will not meet. Please check the radio, TV, or web to see if PSD is closed. Front Range Forum classes are tied to whether the Poudre School District holds classes, so do not call the Senior Center.

Now take a moment to look through our listing of upcoming SPRING activities. It will remind you that soon the days in Fort Collins will be getting longer and bulbs will be popping up with flowers close behind. Note the time change in the afternoon classes.

Our Meet the Spring Facilitators event is scheduled from 2:30 – 3:30 pm on Feb. 12th at the Senior Center. Don’t miss it! There is a great line-up of classes for you to explore with the facilitators, other members to meet up with and, of course, refreshments!

We have many interesting events on our schedule, so, check for the latest information. It is great to have a dedicated website and I encourage all of you to access it frequently.
