Do you have favorite books that enriched your life? Whether the volume is a treasured resident in your house or a treasured memory, come share these gems with the class. Did you read it last month or years ago? Tell us why you liked it: a good read on vacation, or a book that changed your life; a book that made your think, or one that made you laugh? Were you captured by the author’s style, or was it the breadth of research that was covered?
Poetry or prose, fiction or non-fiction—you choose. Tell us about the author’s life and the era in which it was written. How was it received by the public? Each review will be about 20 minutes, followed by 15 minutes for questions and discussion. Each class member will choose 1 to 2 dates for presentation. Several Fort Collins residents will reveal their lives with books. Count on a book exchange in the last class.
