Front Range Forum goes to the Movies

The Twinberry Theater at the Fort Collins Senior Center is the venue for our next movie playing on Wednesday, June 14th. Doors open at 1:30 pm, the movie starts at 2:00 pm. There will be free popcorn available. Following the movie, a facilitator-led discussion will allow viewers to participate in a dialogue on the film.

An all-time Hollywood classic directed by Michael Curtiz, the film is the story of Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart), a cynical world-weary expatriate who runs a night club in Casablanca, Morocco, during the early stages of World War II.  Despite the pressure he constantly receives from the local authorities, Rick’s Café has become a kind of haven for refugees seeking to obtain illicit letters helping them escape to America.  But when Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman), a former lover of Rick’s, and her husband Victor (Paul Henreid) show up at his café one day, Rick faces a tough challenge which will bring up unforeseen complications, heartbreak, and an excruciating decision to make.  102 min.
