Circles have been around and used by Indigenous peoples around the world for thousands of years. They are all about relationship and a way of being. Circles vary in theme and purpose. Talking Circles, Peace Circles, Story Circles, Healing Circles. Circles are also used in the paradigm of restorative justice to repair harm when wrongdoing has taken place - bringing a community back into harmony and peace.
In Circle, there is no hierarchy. Each participant shares an equal seat and a "talking stick" (symbol of indigenous democracy and respectful communication) is used to facilitate the ancient process.
Circles meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month and will meet in Foxtail 2. No sign up/registration is needed. All are welcome. For more information contact Dale Grenfell at grenfell@q.com
